How This Addendum Works
This Addendum is part of our main Agreement and provides specific terms for one-off, project-based technical implementation and configuration services.
It works with our Master Terms of Service (MTS) and your Statement of Work (SoW). If there’s any conflict, the terms here apply.
This addendum is for tasks like:
- Setting up Google Workspace (OUs, policies, users).
- Configuring a Jira project (workflows, screens, permissions).
- Configuring a new server or third-party service.
- Performing a one-off data migration.
This addendum is not for strategic advice (see Consultation & Strategy Addendum) or for building a new application (see Fixed-Scope Development Addendum).
The Process & Deliverables
- Fixed-Scope: This is a fixed-scope project. The specific technical deliverables, services, and fees are defined in the SoW.
- Handling Changes: Any request for work outside the scope of the SoW will be handled via a Change Order.
Acceptance & Handover
- Handover: The project is considered complete when we deliver the final configured system, account access, or documentation as specified in the SoW.
- Acceptance: You will have a set period (e.g., 5 business days, as defined in the SoW) to test and accept the work. If we do not hear from you, the work is considered accepted.
Warranty for Configuration
- Handover Warranty: We promise that at the time of handover, the system will be configured and functional as described in the SoW.
- Exclusions: Our warranty does not cover issues caused by:
- Changes you or a third party make to the configuration after handover.
- The underlying third-party service (e.g., a Google or Atlassian platform outage).
- This is not a 30-day code warranty; it is a "configuration-as-promised" warranty at the time of delivery.
Exclusions
This addendum covers the one-off setup. The following services are not included unless they are specifically detailed in your SoW:
- Any ongoing support or maintenance (covered by our Hosting or Flexible Support Addenda).
- Strategic advice or roadmapping (covered by our Consultation & Strategy Addendum).
- Writing or developing custom code.
