How We Work

FROM IDEA TO LAUNCH, WITHOUT THE DRAMA

A structured, transparent process refined across real projects. You always know what's happening, what's next, and exactly what you're paying for. Nothing hidden. No guesswork.

Why do web projects fail?

Most failures share the same three root causes. My process exists to prevent every one of them.

Scope Creep (when the work keeps growing)

Requirements keep shifting because nobody locked down deliverables upfront. Timelines stretch, budgets bloat, and nobody knows what 'done' looks like.

No Process

Ad-hoc development with no milestones, no checkpoints, and no accountability. You only find out something's wrong when the deadline passes.

Communication Gaps

Status updates disappear into email threads. Questions go unanswered for days. You're left guessing whether your project is on schedule or already in trouble.

Every moving part, mapped

Most studios hide the wiring. I'd rather you see it. Here is the whole thing on one diagram: what happens, who does it, and what protects you at every step. Scroll through it, or tap any step to jump straight there.

New project · Stage 1 of 3

Working out what to build

Two booked sessions on Google Meet. In the second we fill the pricing sheet in together on Google Sheets, so the price is something you watched being built rather than something you receive.

You
Tell me what the business needs and what can wait.
Me
Show you the working, not just the conclusion.
What protects you
Nothing is billed until a scope is signed and the deposit clears.

The build

Kickoff opens this stage and handover closes it. In between, the work sits on a staging site you can visit any time, with a check-in each week and WhatsApp (opens in new tab) open throughout.

You
Look at it as it goes, and say when something is not right.
Me
Build it, and keep you posted without you having to ask.
What protects you
Two rounds of changes included, and progress you can see.

Live, and yours

It goes live and I hand you the keys in the same session, through the Google Drive folder you have had all along.

You
Take ownership, and ask everything you want to ask.
Me
Put it live, transfer all of it, and show you how to run it.
What protects you
100% of the IP transferred, plus a 30-day defect warranty that costs you nothing.

That is the whole process

If that is how you would want this handled, the next step is a short brief. Every question in it is one I would otherwise have to ask you on the call.

Once it's live · Stage 1 of 3

The first month

You run the site and I watch it. Any defect is mine to fix at no charge for 30 days, whether or not you take anything ongoing.

You
Use it properly, and say when something does not look right.
Me
Watch it, and fix defects without an invoice or a debate.
What protects you
The 30 days are unconditional and never used to sell you a plan.

How a month works

The same three things, in the same order, every month. You send changes whenever they come up, WhatsApp (opens in new tab) being fastest. I keep it current. We review it once on Google Meet.

You
Send changes as they come up. Never save them for a meeting.
Me
Keep it current and backed up, and tell you what I did.
What protects you
Month to month, cancel on 30 days, never a condition of handover.

When something bigger comes up

Anything bigger than a small change goes back round to scoping, on the same sheet in Google Sheets, priced the way the first project was.

You
Say what has changed, and what you want it to do.
Me
Scope it from the top, at the same table as before.
What protects you
Same process, same fixed price, and your accounts stay yours.

If you already have a site

Care and monthly work get quoted the way a build does: scoped first, fixed after. Tell me what you have and what keeps breaking.
